Inspiration:
My decision to redesign Lake McMurtry Friends, a non-profit situated in Stillwater, OK, stemmed from its core mission—to offer the community an opportunity to engage with nature, fostering education on conservation while encouraging outdoor activities. In undertaking this redesign, I aimed to enhance the website's functionality for all users, catering to both younger families and retirees alike. Drawing inspiration predominantly from nature, the primary objective was to create a user-friendly interface accessible to all. The incorporation of familiar icons such as fish, ducks, and other elements from the natural world served to make navigation intuitive and relatable for visitors.
